Description: Join National Park Service Naturalist Jerry Hightower for a campfire, program on the covered upper deck, sunset stroll, and a beautiful spring evening concluding another day on the Chattahoochee. Discover facts and fables about the Marietta Paper Mills and then have fun making decorative recycled paper. You are welcome to bring old colored paper, construction paper, and old colored tissue paper to use. Enjoy the campfire and the twilight. The activities are very casual and informal.
Facilities: Located in the Center’s Lodge.
Difficulty: Easy level walking
Bring: Dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes suitable for walking on a forest trail. You are invited to bring your own marshmallows for roasting over the campfire. We will provide roasting forks.
Limit: 120 persons
