The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others. – Mahatma Gandhi
There are different ways you can volunteer with CNPC and CRNRA. As an individual you can volunteer in the park as a VIP or organize a Group Volunteer Event with your company or social group.
If you would like to become a volunteer and work in the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area (CRNRA) you must register and complete required National Park Service (NPS) forms. Click here to start the process. Standing work days are the first and third Saturday each month, and monthly volunteer meetings are held every second Thursday of the month at the Island Ford Visitor Center.
Gather with your co-workers and peers and spend the morning volunteering with CNPC in the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area. Group Volunteer Events are typically offered on Friday mornings. This is a new CNPC program and we will be hosting volunteer events as early as June 2021.
CNPC will work with your group to determine the best and most meaningful project for your team and will likely include working on the trails or cleaning up litter. Please contact Martha.Seabrook@ChattahoocheeParks.Org in you are interested in having a group volunteer event with your company or organization.
CNPC often needs volunteers to assist with administrative tasks or events. Please contact info@chattahoocheeparks.org and let us know how you would like to volunteer with us.
