Give Back to Your Park
Our park thrives thanks to dedicated volunteers. By giving your time and effort, you’ll help preserve and restore one of Atlanta’s most beloved outdoor spaces for millions of visitors each year. From trail maintenance to river cleanups and special events, it all makes a difference.

To volunteer to work in the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area (CRNRA), please register and complete required National Park Service (NPS) forms here.
Standing work days are the 1st and 3rd Saturday each month, and monthly volunteer meetings are held every 2nd Thursday of the month at the Island Ford Visitor Center.
2nd Monday of the month from 9 AM - 12 PM
The Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area and The Chattahoochee National Park Conservancy partnered with Birds Georgia to create a pollinator garden in front of the Visitor Center at Island Ford. Each month, volunteers gather to remove invasive species, prune plants, and rejuvenate the area.
Gather with your co-workers and peers and spend the morning volunteering with CNPC in the park!
CNPC will work with your group to determine the best and most meaningful project for your team, and will likely include working on the trails or cleaning up litter.
Chattahoochee National Park Conservancy, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are proud to support our Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area, a unit of the national park system managed by the National Park Service.
