Cycling is a popular form of recreation in and around the park. Whether cruising along scenic roads or exploring designated trails, cyclists can immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the area while enjoying their ride.
Always give a heads up to fellow trail users. Bikers traveling downhill should yield to those heading uphill.
Wet and muddy trails are more vulnerable to damage, so avoid riding on them after rain. Be sure to pack out what you pack in.
To make sure you have the best biking experience, check the trail conditions before you head out.
Text “Ride” to 770-727-5061 for up-to-date trail status, including when Sope Creek trails are closed to bikes following rain (closed for 24 hours).
Cycling along the scenic trails of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area offers an unforgettable experience for bikers of all levels. Your support is crucial to maintaining and expanding these trails. Donations help fund trail improvements, safety enhancements, and public access efforts to ensure everyone can enjoy the beauty of the park on two wheels.
A park pass is required for all visitors in all units of CRNRA. 80% of all fees collected help fund critical projects that improve services and protect resources in the park. Daily passes ($5), annual passes ($40), or annual senior passes ($20) are available for purchase online through NPS.
