Dragonfly Discovery

A beginners guide to dragonflies

July 912 - 2 PM 

Hewlett Lodge at Island Ford Unit of the CRNRA 

Learn about the beautiful and fascinating insects from dragonfly specialist Roseanne Guerra, Naturalist/Environmental Educator The first part of the event will be held in Hewlett Lodge, at the Visitor Center, followed by a 10-minute walk in the Park to view dragonflies. This introduction to dragonflies is open to adults and children 10 years and older. Participants are welcome to bring a bag lunch to enjoy during the first part of the event. 

$5 for adult CNPC members

$10 for non-members

Children are free

Max of 15 Participants

This event will take place rain or shine, however it will be rescheduled in the event of severe weather including thunderstorms or flood warnings. Participants will be notified by email the morning of the event (or sooner) should an event need to be rescheduled due to weather.

I agree that Chattahoochee National Park Conservancy may use such photographs of me with or without my name and for any lawful purpose, including, for example, social media, publicity, illustration, advertising, and web content. This agreement is subject to the laws of the State of Georgia, and I agree that any lawsuit arising from my participation may be brought only in the courts located in Gwinnett County, Georgia.
