Description: Join the National Park Service for a campfire and live possum* program presented on the upper deck of the Center’s Lodge. Bring your own marshmallows to roast over the campfire. Discover new facts about the wildlife of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area and their nocturnal habits. There will be a live possum* program on the upper deck presented by Chattahoochee Nature Center Naturalists. The NPS staff will present an actual Cherokee legend about the possum with the permission of the Cherokee Council. Receive a complimentary Chattahoochee River Journal with wildlife lists and paw prints. Enjoy the campfire, the possum, and the beauty of the Chattahoochee. Park entrance fee or annual pass required. Parking is limited and carpooling is encouraged.

Difficulty: Easy level walking
Bring: Dress for the weather . Dress in layers so that you can adjust to changes in the
temperature.
