CELLPHONOGRAPHY IN THE PARK Saturday, Feb. 18

4 - 6:30 PM

Island Ford Unit of CRNRA

Want to take more artistic photos with your cellphone? Join our cellphonography class led by a professional photographer.

An outdoor, sit-down class will cover tips about composition and using natural light to your advantage. We will learn about advanced features and cool phone apps.  Afterward, enjoy a walk along the river taking pictures in beautiful "golden hour" light! The instructor will answer questions and offer suggestions on how to make impactful, artistic photographs.

There is no charge for the class,

but there is a recommended donation of $15 per person

Participants should know how to use their phones to capture an image and video.
Families are welcome. Minimum age is 12 years old.

The sit-down class is on the patio behind the Visitor Center.

Instructor Rick Olson learned the mechanics of photography decades ago and never stopped developing his art.

Now retired, photography has become his primary pastime.

While Rick favors nature, landscape and wildlife photography, his range of subjects is quite broad.

You can see some of Rick’s work here: https://fineartamerica.com/profiles/8-richard-olson
